- Accomodations
We offer several different options for housing while you are here: There are 8 beds in a small rustic dorm cabin next to the Farm Clinic. Dorm is free for the first 8 students who enroll.
There are private rooms in the homes of our Farm residents that are very comfortable and within close walking distance of the clinic for $25/night/student, $35/night/non-student.
Other housing possibilities, including one cabin, are available within our community if you want to bring your family. Call us for information.
Transportation to The Farm from the Airport:
The Farm Clinic is 65 miles from Nashville . If you fly, you should fly to Nashville. We will arrange a shuttle run the day before and the day the workshop begins. At the end of the workshop there will be a shuttle run to the airport. Contact us if you plan to use our shuttle.
We have orientation at 4:30 p.m. at the Farm Clinic/Midwifery Center on the first day of each workshop, so you should fly into Nashville before 1:30 p.m. in order to be here and get settled in your living space by 4:30 p.m.
At the end of the workshops, please do not plan your flights out of Nashville before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday or before 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Shuttle cost will be $85/person or child, each way, to and from the airport. If you bring a baby you need to bring a car seat. Plan to meet next to the information desk at the baggage claim station at the airport. If you plan to use our shuttle run service, be sure to contact us by e-mail at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the workshop.
