Christine and Michael are founding members of the Farm. Michael teaches sociology at Columbia State College. He is a Master Gardener and loves to cook. Christine is a Midwife and assists The Farm’s Midwifery Center. She loves to hold newborns and help new moms. Her passion in the garden are the flowers. Mike and Chris enjoy hosting visitors, so welcome!

The Longhouse is one of the older historic houses on The Farm. It is currently a duplex. The guest side of the duplex is available for temporary rental. It has 2 to 3 bedrooms upstairs plus a living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom downstairs. It has a private entrance. The home has heat and air, and the kitchen fully stocked with cooking tools.

This is a good location for a family group as well and can accommodate more people. Ask for rates for more than 4.

Downstairs: A private three-bedroom/one bathroom apartment with two queen bedrooms and one double. There is one single bed in the living room, and an additional one on the screened-in back porch. Playground, fully equipped kitchen.  Central heat and air downstairs, excellent internet, and Smart TVs. A great place for families with kids! 

$100 a night for 4 people; more than 4 is $5 extra per person per night.

Upstairs: 1 queen bedroom, 1 double, a large kitchen, and a bathroom. In-room air conditioners, at least 1 TV, and internet access (weather permitting). Total house rentals available by request. Centrally located across the field from the Farm Store, Dome playground, and Head of the Roads Gazebo. No pets and no smoking tobacco in the house.

    Betsy’s House – 128 First Road
The house sleeps 10. $85 a night for 5 to 10 guests, $70 a night for 1 to 4 guests.

Betsy’s House  is joined to Marilyn’s by a screened porch breezeway.  Entering by the ramp, you are on the main floor with kitchen, living room and bathroom.  The sofa is a pull-out bed.  One flight up is a loft bedroom with a queen bed and full-sized bed.  One flight down is a bedroom with a full sized bed and a deck.  There is a small deck off the living room, and the screened porch breezeway is a common area with couches and dining table.  There is high speed internet, TV, AC and a dog pen in the yard.  No smoking.   The Cabin $60 per night – 126 First Road
The Cabin sleeps 3 and is accessed by a ramp and has a wheelchair – accommodating bathroom.  There is a queen bed, a twin bed, a kitchenette, TV, Wi-Fi, AC and heat. No Smoking.

$25 per night per person (limit of 6 people and 3 cars parked per night). Reservations required. 

Primitive tent camping is available on weekends at Heather’s on Apple Orchard for up to 6 guests. The space is currently under construction for upgrades this spring, but is ready for campers who feel comfortable  “roughing it” for the weekend while they enjoy nature and a break from technology. There’s an outhouse, a spigot and an outdoor sink, with an outdoor shower upgrade coming soon. The space is private, tucked away in the woods but still a short walk to the disc golf course, the community center, or the Ecovillage Training Center, and the many trails and creeks located behind the property.

Located on Farm Road next to a wildlife pond, where the frogs will sing you to sleep, and adjacent to the Frisbee Golf course. At this primitive campground, there are picnic tables, lantern holders, tent sites, one pop up camper site or RV site (no power), a water spigot, charcoal grill, a fire pit and an outhouse. The shower at the Welcome Center is available when the Welcome Center is open or by appointment.

Women’s & Men’s Dorm Rooms and camping (for large events only). Located on Schoolhouse Road across from Solar School & Community Center. There are indoor shower and bathrooms (wheelchair accessible), out houses & a solar shower.
