The Farm Welcome Center

The Farm is open for visitors everyday 9 AM to 5 PM*

Welcome Center hours: Monday-Friday, Noon – 4 PM CST.**

Welcome CenterThe Farm Welcome Center is often the first stop for people entering the community. It has information about the community, our events calendar and literature from our businesses and non-profit organizations. Many books written and published by our Book Publishing Company are on sale at the Welcome Center, along with tie-dye t-shirts, wall-hangings and other gift items.

If you’d like to visit The Farm and see the community, book a tour, or need Campground information, please call Vickie at (931) 964-3574 or e-mail ahead to arrange to be met by one of our staff.

If you want to stop in and visit the Welcome Center, please call ahead to make an appointment.

People are welcome to visit anytime, but bear in mind that the community is spread out over several square miles and people are busy with their personal lives. To the casual visitor it can seem to be a very quiet place.

Guided Tours: During our guided tour, we stop at various sites of interest and tell the history of each place, as well as what is going on there now. You’ll also get to visit areas of The Farm that are usually closed to the public. Length: 2 hours Price: $40 for 1-4 people Each additional person $5. By reservation only.

South Central Tennessee Transportation/SCTT
Located at the Greyhound Bus station , 709 5th Ave. South, Nashville, TN.

As of this writing (12/2015)
They pick up in Nashville at the Greyhound bus station,  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 12 pm & 4:30 pm.
SCTT can pick you up at other locations in Nashville, but you must call two days in advance: 931-766-7867.

Note:The schedule may change around holidays.  Please call them to confirm your plans.

They will drop you off in Summertown at the Super Rama Grocery Store. $15 fee one way or round trip $20.

PLEASE NOTE: The Farm Community does not provide transportation from Summertown to our premises.
If you are attending a workshop or retreat, please contact the event organizers directly to schedule your pick up.
