The caravan of 50 buses and assorted campers traveled over 8,000 miles as Stephen spoke at colleges and churches about peace, love and understanding, and the changes that were sweeping the country. Here are the original transcripts along with Caravan meetings and Stephen’s commentary from today’s perspective.
After several months the members of the Caravan realized they had become a village on the road. They left again to look for land eventually bought 1750 acres in Tennessee, founding The Farm, the largest alternative community in America.
